Really like this coat but wondering if it’s really too young for a 47 year old? Honest opinions please.

It's lovely. I'd buy that for dh and he's got 10 or so years on yours.

Its absolutely gorgeous. I would not think twice about buying this one. It looks like a great fit for the age!!
