Body Insecurities

Hello everyone,

This is my first post which will explain my lack of inactivity, I often read the threads but have never signed up as a member.

I've come here for honest opinions. I have a really big insecurity that makes me feel incredibly depressed and disgusting, I understand to other people it may not seem to bad to myself it is awful. I have very little confidence and my insecurity plays havoc with all aspects of my life, especially my relationships with others.

I'm wanting to know do any of you have this 'line' under their stomach just above their pubic area? I am not overweight and I it is not excess skin as I have never lost a significant amount of weight. It really gets me down and stops me from wearing certain outfits or bikinis etc. I feel like I am the only woman with this shadowing/line/pouch as I've ever looked on body forums and cannot find a similar body type to my own.

I welcome any comments you have and would also like to know if any of you have this body type, and if you do, do you have any photos for me to see?

Thank you so much.

These are the photos of the ‘line’ I am insecure about.

You just look like a normal girl.

crisscrosscranky · 17/11/2017 20:22

I’m pretty sure I used to have that line. I ate a lot of cake and biscuits and it’s not there anymore... I have a roll instead GrinCakeBiscuit

Anyway, I think it’s pretty normal.

PaperdollCartoon · 18/11/2017 00:18

Totally normal, I have this when I’m a bit slimmer than I am now. You have a lovely figure, really nothing to be concerned about.

McBounty · 18/11/2017 00:26

OP, you have a beautiful figure - in fact, I would do anything to have a figure like yours.

You're beautiful just the way you are. If you hadn't have pointed it out, I wouldn't have even registered it. I would naturally have just thought you had a wonderful figure.

blueshoes · 18/11/2017 00:45

You have a lovely waist. The 'line' is pretty subtle.

If you wish to flatten it, have you tried a low carb diet?

FiveShelties · 18/11/2017 05:31

You look fantastic. I have that line on one side but the other side is a little wonky after hysterectomy. I also have a waist, but nothing like yours - too much wine!

MissBax · 18/11/2017 05:33

I'll trade you that line for my garden path? Blush

Hairq · 18/11/2017 06:00

You have a really nice figure. Wish mine was like that. The line is just a normal variation - it doesn't
Mean you're overweight or anything (you are clearly not). Embrace it - I wouldn't have noticed it.

Nettletheelf · 18/11/2017 08:43

In the nicest possible way, your problem isn’t the barely perceptible ‘line’ on your stomach. It’s your belief that a tiny flaw should make you ‘...feel incredibly depressed and disgusting’.

Why? And why should it affect your confidence and your ability to form relationships? Do you believe that everybody else looks perfect under their clothes? (We don’t).

Have you considered therapy?

loobylou10 · 18/11/2017 09:41

I have that line OP. Most of us do. You have a lovely figure.

Aducknotallama · 18/11/2017 09:46

I also have that line. I have had it at all weights including now at a healthy weight, when I was obese and when I was much younger and underweight. It’s normal

Branleuse · 18/11/2017 09:49

Its normal and i think its cute

MontanaSkies · 18/11/2017 10:00

I have that line! I actually really like it! Smile Never occurred to me not to. It's more visible when I'm slimmer and more toned, which is probably why I like seeing it. You have a great figure and the (very faint) line is much more noticeable to you than anyone else that may see it, believe me.

Greenglassteacup · 18/11/2017 10:22

You have a lovely figure and from what I've seen in communal changing rooms at the gym definitely 'normal' variation. I would love to have a figure like you, be kind to yourself

You have a lovely figure. I'd be really pleased if my waist curved inwards instead of out.

Dustbunny1900 · 18/11/2017 15:29

I'm 8 stone (maybe less) and technically underweight for my height, my ribs stick out and I STILL have that line on my totally flat stomach.
use some self tanner or something. You have a great hip to waist ratio! Jealous
