Nude tights in winter: opinions?

What do people think of nude tights in wintertime - fine, or a bit "wrong" somehow? Is it a bit like wearing black tights in summer: unseasonal and therefore stylish? I think it's fine in the evening but can't decide whether it looks a bit weird during the day. Most people are in thick 60+ denier black tights or leggings around here now that the temperature's goes down and I don't want to look like I've forgotten my tights even though rationally I know that thickish nude tights are no colder than ordinary 40 denier black ones... Any opinions?

Well i wear black fleece-lined tights but if you can avoid freezing to death i say go for it

They need to be 10 denier to avoid the Norah Batty look. But as long as they're thin they look fine. Not a no-no in the way that black opaques in summer are, imo.

No it's not the same as opaques in summer so wear them if you like.

I had this same question yesterday. I had a dark, knee length bodycon dress on for work and didn't want to put dark tights with it, but with nude tights I had a bizarre worry that people would think I wasn't wearing tights at all. Nude seemed fine though when I had them on.
