Biker jacket

I've just bought this biker jacket and it's lovely. I will be planning to wear it unzipped but at the moment the sides will not stay folded back as in the picture and just looks undone rather than stylish.

Anybody know how to get the folds in the front of the jacket as in the picture so that the sides stay apart when unzipped?

I hope this makes sense, I'm rubbish at explaining things Blush

Lie it down and leave something heavy on the sides overnight?

Mine is the same doesn't sit properly
It is a Whistles one
Had thought about lying it in 'position' with some heavy books on it
(Or am I really nuts?)

That's my plan but I wasn't sure if it would work or if I'm missing some other obvious solution.

It's worth a try

I was considering asking at the saddlery if they could put a couple of studs in mine, which is quite old, and has never sat right. However, have tried pressing it (warm steam iron, towel over the jacket to protect it, went over the creases several times, letting the jacket cool down each time). Took about 10-15 mins per side. Difference is amazing.

Ooh I like that idea. I thought of using the iron but knowing my look it would melt the jacket!
How hot did you have the iron?

I think you'd only be able to do it with a steam iron. They don't have a heat setting so you can't get it wrong. They just steam things flat. I'd be worried about melting it with a traditional iron.

My All Saints one has actual press studs under the lapels, if you know somewhere that can put some in.
