Gig wear ideas please!

Hello!

I'm off to see the Killers soon but hubby and I have treated ourselves to VIP tickets so fear my usual gig jeans / converse and a tee / cardi might not be appropriate - particularly coupled with the usual rare night away without children - I'd like to make an effort.

Here's the rub - I'm big with small boobs :-(
(A Sz 24 with FF boobs so I suppose not small but I'm not as buxom as many others my size!)

Could do with some ideas for outfits please - likely having drinks with the hip young things (I'm 37, and greying badly!) and just feel yuck!

(Am Following SW - v slowly and steady coming off but still feel uncomfortable)

Have a simply be & MasterCard - not afraid to use them!

Many thanks.

You don’t want to be trying too hard so jeans and converse sounds spot on. I think I’d spend the money on getting the greying hair sorted, a blow dry on the day, maybe a facial, nails etc.

The last few gigs I've been too has been full of glamourpusses- although how they can have a good old mosh in heels I'll never know!

A facial does sound nice though! :)

Jeans and T will be absolutely fine, wear what makes you comfortable. As others have said, spend on nails, hair etc. People who go all out at gigs with heels etc look ridiculous when they are hobbling out at the end, and even if you have VIP it just means you get a shorter queue at the bar / nicer seat, you don't need to dress up especially. Have fun!
