Do I wear a vest with this?

I just bought a top (from the charity shop, £2.99!) Which I love, it should be perfect for Christmas evenings out. It's a sort of pale gold lace, with a black weave through it and a black satin collar. High necked, with cap sleeves, waist length. I'm imagining it with either very high waisted black jeans or a black high waisted pencil skirt and heels. But, it's completely see through. Do I wear it with just a bra, or with a black vest under it? I'm 27 and size 8 on top (between an 8 and a 10 on my bottom half).

Definitely need a vest.

Thank you. I thought it would probably need one (also , it would be bloody cold without), but I thought the bit of chest above the vest, but below the neck line of the lace top might look odd.

At your age and size, no vest.
Actually on a night out I probably wouldn't wear a vest either and I'm 39 though similar size.

Maybe with a vest if we're eating, so the person opposite me isn't just stuck with my chest in their face?

I agree. At your age and size no vest

Oh, if it's eating out then vest, I was thinking more pubs/clubs.

Ok, if with a bra, with a perfectly matched skin colour one, or with a black one? Skin colour could look classier, or just like I'm completely naked...

That was my main plan for it Ihave. It would probably have a blazer over the top for eating.

Black, definitely black, skin coloured bras are not to be seen. (V practical, I own several but not for this occasion)
Oh, back to the original plan if you have a blazer then, no vest!

The answer to that question is always yes, and a cardigan too.
