Casual shoe for DH

DH needs a casual shoe for dress down day at work. He’s in his 50s and wears timberland boots at the weekend and smart black shoes to work. Need something in between that works with black jeans or blue trousers.

Not a trainer.

A nice brogue, a red lip, a smoky eye. All of these seem to be single items these days. Drives me crazy. Sorry for sidetracking.
How about brogue style brown leather boots?

Or Chelsea boots?

Never brown in town!

He scoffs when I suggest Chelsea boots!

Chukka boots. Manufacturers like Russell and Bromley have them. Possibly John Lewis. Loake make them I think. DH has several pairs in leather and various colours of suede.
