Bag Strap Extender ideas?

I am hoping to extend the straps of my bags so I can wear them crossbody. Any ideas? Thanks

I took a bag to a saddler and had him add in a 15 inch strip of solid bridle leather mid strap to make it the length I wanted, and have used it much more since doing so. It was a good call and looks great.
