I dont really do skirts, so need help!

I need ideas what top to put with it, something smart for a meal few drinks etc.

I love these midi skirts worn with a fitted cashmere jumper which would be good for Christmas Day but might be too hot for a night out. Possibly a good quality fitted black t shirt tucked in with statement necklace.

I was thinking of gold myself maybe not a cami though. I hate being cold, although i would have a coat on, id still be cold! 😂
