What spf moisturiser do you use?

If you use a daily SPF of 30+ what do you use?

I’ve never found one that doesn’t break me out. Even la roche posay athelios broke me out on holiday in the summer...

Any recommendations would be great!

Body Shop Vitamin C day cream. Can't remember the exact name but it's 'glow' something and is in an orange tube. Very good and smells lovely (though of course scent is subjective). SPF 30.

I use an SPF free moisturiser (LRP toleraine fluide) and Biore watery essence SPF 50 on top - brilliant for my oily skin

Finding Juice Beauty Oil Moisturiser spf 30 was like finding the holy grail. I had been on an unsuccessful quest for years. Everything either made my eyes sting, or left too thick a cast or clogged my pores and caused breakouts.

It’s quite thick, so warming it between your hands before applying to face really helps. The end effect is quite nice, it leaves skin looking smooth and silky (not glossy, not matte).

I don’t use foundation over it, but if you did, I imagine it would be quite a good primer. I do always use a hyaluronic serum and a spritz underneath it and that way I find it performs really well as a moisturiser.

I also use the Body Shop vit C factor 30. i like the orangey smell.

The problem with high factor face cream in the winter is the lack of vit D from the sun, I've just been prescribed super high vit d3 as I'm lacking it.

I am the same as you so I cannot go above spf 15-20
It is the nature of the spf chemicals
I use Olay moisturiser factor 15 during winter and then add a little bit of factor 30 la Roche posay in summer
Or I use spf 15 and a little make
Up with low spf in

You can't make vitamin D from the sun in this country in Winter. It's still important to wear spf to protect the skin all year round.

Baileystruffle · 11/11/2017 09:54

True- I just took this from the NHS website.
"In the UK, sunlight doesn't contain enough UVB radiation in winter (October to early March) for our skin to be able to make vitamin D.

During these months, we rely on getting ourvitamin D from food sources (including fortified foods) andsupplements."

I use the avene anti ageing spf 50 all year round on top of my moisturiser

Fairylea · 11/11/2017 10:32

Sunsense Daily Face SPF50 from Amazon. I use it like a primer on top of moisturiser. It’s amazing.

BumWad · 11/11/2017 10:34

Eucerin Adjunctive care moisturiser it’s for acne skins so doesn’t block pores and has an spf of 30

BinkyandBunty · 11/11/2017 10:47

I think you can buy Australian brand Natio in the UK. Their Ageless SPF30 moisturiser is gorgeous, the only one I've used that doesn't look, smell or feel like it has sunscreen in it. And from a lovely, ethical, cruelty free brand.

IS clinical one is great. But pricey but you get a big bottle. It's called Extreme Protect spf. 30

jelly10 · 11/11/2017 22:21

I use body shop vitamin E spf 30. It's really light but still moisturises, I've got combination skin. Love it and would definitely recommend.

Housewife2010 · 11/11/2017 22:48

I use Ultra Sun SPF 30 for sensitive skin over my moisturiser. It is excellent. It's feels comfortable on.my skin and has no scent.
