Black Tie Dress

I have a black tie dinner to go to next month and have no idea where to look.
I need a dress, shoes and bag. I can probably spend about £200 for everything and when I look everything is much more expensive than that. I can stretch it a bit but just before Christmas I'd rather not.
I'm 30, 5'6 and a 10/12. I've not long since had a baby so I'd rather not have anything very low cut or tight around my stomach. Help!

High street is your friend. ASOS occasion wear , Dorothy Perkins etc.

You could easily do this for under £200. Look at high street again for heels and a clutch bag.

I wore this for a black tie event, it’s was absolutely lovely and covers all the right places! I had a nightmare getting hold of it at the time (there’s a whole mumsnet thread dedicated to it!) but it’s more easily available now 🙄 Google ‘Hobbs Bella Dress’

Yes, ASOS is brilliant! Reasonable prices, lovely selection for all types, classy.

I had to go to a fire and ice ball last year and got a steal of a gown on sale for £13! It was gorgeous!
