Help me find flat round tie brown knee/calf high boots!

Please! I have had the best wear out of Fat Face tan flat calf height round toe boots, every day wear.

I bought a new pair when they wore out, so I'm two pairs down, and I feel like these boots are a part of my identity.....
Now fat face don't seem to be doing them and pair#2 are on their last legs :(

I can't find anything else I like, I can't afford hundreds; I'd pay up to about €150.

I'd like something hard wearing , robust as they will be worn nearly everyday and I'm outdoorsy.

I'm open to riding boots, yard boots or even chic hiking boots (danner style but I can't afford danner)

Any lovely boots around? I think the blunt toe stipulation is the stumbling block, but I think I loved my last boots because they were so stubby!

Thanks all!

Ugh. Round-toe, not tie.

Can you post a pic of your current boots?

FetchezLaVache · 09/11/2017 20:54

They might be out of your price range and they might not look round enough toed for you, but I have these from Jones the Bootmaker (£160) and they are soooooo comfy (and I am seriously unprepared to tolerate any pedal discomfort for the sake of fashion!).

I understand Grin

My poor boots. Pairs 1and2. I mix and match them these days depending on which zips I can force into action!

this

MissWimpyDimple · 09/11/2017 21:44

Doc Martens?

Shockers · 09/11/2017 21:50

I have some Fly, brown, round toe boots. I'll try to find a link.

Appuskidu · 09/11/2017 21:51

Fly Mes?

Shockers · 09/11/2017 21:52

Ah- they're exactly the same as those in MissW's link, but a darker brown.

SophieofShepherdsBush · 09/11/2017 21:53

Thanks everyone, you are all on the right track. I like the Fly ones, I really like the doc marten shape but not sure about the buckles. Dm s would be hard-wearing though.
Ok there are some good possibilities out there, maybe I'll be ok without my beloved fat face boots!

I've had my Fly ones for a couple of years and they're still going strong!

SophieofShepherdsBush · 09/11/2017 21:55

I polished my tan boots to make them a darker brown so I'm flexible on the shade of brown.

I swear by rocket dog boots. I just bought 3 pairs of the same ones in their sale so I don’t have to worry when they wear out over the next few years. Not sure what other styles they have but maybe worth a look?

Shockers · 09/11/2017 21:58

TKMaxx sell Rocket Dog.

SophieofShepherdsBush · 09/11/2017 22:02

I'll have a look at rocket dog, thanks.

Coming back to those fly ones, the red are a lot cheaper, and I think I like them, but can I get away with red boots for literally every day use?

Have you looked on eBay for the Fat Face one’s?

TonicAndTonic · 09/11/2017 22:10

I've got these, they're really comfy!

SophieofShepherdsBush · 09/11/2017 22:13

Nicetonic but the ruching not my style.

I haven't tried eBay, am I likely to be able to get my old ones?
