Good eye make up remover

I wear very little make up. Just a coat or 2 of non-waterproof mascara but I cannot find an eye make up remover to get it off in one go without repeated scrubbings. I wore make up on Tuesday and I woke up this morning with mascara smudges under my eyes despite washing my face morning and evening since and using make up remover twice. Does anyone have any recommendatioms?

Yup, Vaseline! I read it on here recently and it really works. Rub a little bit (really, not too much) into your lids and lashes, then wipe with a cloth or possibly a cotton wool pad. I have been using a muslin cloth, just because I have lots of them and it works well. Ordinary cotton wool was not good...fluff everywhere!
Then I just wash my face as normal. There is some Vaseline residue but it doesn't bother me

Lancôme Bifacil is brilliant - gets waterproof mascara off and doesn’t’t irritate the eye area

Aridane · 09/11/2017 18:10

It also gets off those long lasting lipsticks

Baby oil on cotton wool pads.

Vaseline I have loads I'd do I'll definitely try that.

Really like Lancôme Bifacil but have started buying Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover and it's very effective. And cheaper!

usersos · 09/11/2017 18:21

I find these all sting....simple eye make up remover all the way!

Dfg15 · 09/11/2017 18:22

Superdrugs own brand for sensitive eyes is good

Twinkie1 · 09/11/2017 18:42

The Lancôme one, have used it on and off for years. I think I’ll try something else for a change or because it’s cheaper and always go back to it.

Cakescakescakes · 09/11/2017 18:46

Bioderma Sensibio micellar water. No sting, no residue. I always try other things and keep coming back to this.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 09/11/2017 20:30

I second Simple. Even gets my Benefit mascara off and no sting.

(Don't go near Nivea - that stuff will send you blind! I use Nivea moisturiser so It's not personal!)

Jenpug · 09/11/2017 21:06

Thanks. Think I'll try dimple yoo. I've been trying the more expensive brands and got nowhere.

These eye makeup remover pads from Boots are great! Wipe your eyes after though as a bit oily

I really like Clinique take the day off. Or garnier miscellar water as a cheaper alternative.

Glad to see others voting for Lancôme’s Bifacil - for me it’s the only one which removes eye make up and which doesn’t irritate. Baby oil puffs me up like I’ve been punched in the face Sad
