Wedding suitable???

I've just remembered that we've agreed to go to a wedding do at the weekend and I've put some weight on recently so the only dress I have is my new one. But is it wedding suitable? It's the wedding evening celebration only, not the ceremony or reception, and it's from 7:30pm.

What do you think? Too dark?

Oh great. Thanks all for the help. I was a little worried. We normally attend all day weddings so it's bright floral numbers with a big fascinator (I know, I know, but I love them! I never get to dress up! )This seemed quite dark and I didn't want to commit a wedding faux pas by wearing black and red when I shouldn't.

I actually picked this one up recently because I was dying to know what a £4 dress from the Wish app looked like. Turns out, the answer is lovely! Slightly thinner material but a stunning dress! I can't wait to wear it.
