I am prepared to be laughed at here, but please be kind! ☺️ I recently got interested in skincare and make up after 37 years 🙈
I really am confused though...
I own .... serum, primer, moisturiser, highlighter, cover stick, foundation .
How on earth do I do it??? What goes on first? What order? Do I wear them all at once??? I’m so embarrassed to ask . Any advice or comments would be appreciated xxx

Oh and a luminator thingy as well ... that’s also a recent purchase 😀

I’m not an expert like some on here but this is what I do - cleanse (wash) then serum, moisturiser, primer, foundation, concealer, powder, highlighter, rest of makeup. I don’t actually use concealer or serum but that’s the order I’d do it. I’m sure someone who knows more than me will be along in s minute.

I use them in this order:
Serum
Moisturiser
Primer (I don’t use this every day)
Concealer
Foundation
A bit more concealer if I look especially rough
Illuminator (only on special occasions).

Some days I just use:
Serum
BB cream
Concealer

(I’m not an expert either! I’m horrified by the number of ‘layers’ I use on my face!)

Thanks ladies! That’s really helpful x

Just saw your second comment there... 😂 I can’t believe how much stuff is out there to put on our face. Ah well... anything to look good 😂😂😂

Just to add I use my concealer after my foundation as putting it on before you just end up rubbing it off when applying foundation. Another tip always apply a wet product before a dry. I.e. Foundation, cream blush etc before powder as doing so after powder it may go cloggy!

That idea wouldn't have even crossed my mind! I've just been bugging it on in any order. 🙈🙈 Thank you! I'll be a new woman today 😂
