Where to get proper jeans with abit of stretch?

So I need a pair of proper skinny jeans with a little stretch but not jeggings! Something that is flattering on the tummy but pulls in the tummy instead of just stretching over it and allowing it to look wobbly! I have had jeans like this before but can’t seem to find any!

Any idea where to look? Confused

tesco....they are fabulous! Contour range...nice strong stretch, not too much wrinkling, no camel toe nice sturdy fabric but "moulds" nicely. Wash and tumble well too...no shrinkage or iffy stretch after.

I am between sizes and do need a belt with the bigger size but the smaller size stays put no bother and doesn't cut off my circulation if you have to bend over or sit down.

Nice high waist too on the skinnies.

I discovered them after buying a pair of ankle grazer superskinnies in the sale, and have bought two more pairs (high rise skinnies, and a distressed pair) at full price....I never buy anything full price!

Topshop Jamie.

NotAgainYoda · 08/11/2017 16:48

I thought the Next 360 ones were really good. They were too skinny for me but a good stretch and thick material

Ollivander84 · 08/11/2017 18:47

Sainsbury's 4 way stretch. My newly discovered favourites!

littlespeckledfrog · 08/11/2017 18:51

Another vote for topshop Jamie jeans.

Puppymouse · 08/11/2017 20:20

Gap - I have about 5 pairs!

luckylavender · 08/11/2017 20:37

Definitely GAP

hendricksyousay · 08/11/2017 21:33

@StatueInTheSky .. I always buy Tesco jeans . No believes me when I say hoe amazing they are . Never mind , more for me !

BeastOfCraggyIsland · 08/11/2017 22:06

Topshop Jamie, I have black, grey and 2 blue pairs. They're the best jeans I've worn by far.

hungryradish · 08/11/2017 22:10

Topshop Jamie jeans are the only jeans I wear. Most comfortable & more stretchy in black, for some reason.

Notreallyhappy · 08/11/2017 22:15

Another nydj vote great lasting investment. My favourite pair have lasted 6 years but now no good for dressing up.😐

Kleptronic · 08/11/2017 22:58

Levis 311s. High waisted, skinny, brilliant. Costco do them sometimes for £40 otherwise they seem to be £70. Well worth it though, and I've tried the Next, Sainsbury's, H&M, RiverIsland etc. etc. I have 2 pairs, one in my thin size, one in my not!

sosofedupnow · 09/11/2017 07:37

Thank you all for the replies, and be never heard of nydj I was thinking of trying topshop as I tried some on before that I though were a good fit but at the time I was bigger than I wanted to be so didn’t want to spend the money on them. Now I’m the size I’m happy with I would rather have a couple of good pairs of jeans instead of loads of rubbish pairs.

I always find it a mission to get a good pair of jeans that fit well are tight enough but not so tight that I can’t breathe

Oh I’ve just looked up the Levi’s 311 jeans too and they sound good now to find a pair to try on Hmm

I second Top Shop Jamie jeans. I'm 53 5ft 3in. Size 12. I'm really pleased with how stretchy they are. I've had them for over a year now. They are still in very good condition. I also wear super skinny jeans from M&S but they don't hold their shape as well as the Top Shop ones.

Boredboredboredboredbored · 09/11/2017 09:36

Another one for Topshop Jamie skinny jeans. Perfect waist height and I’m a curvy size 12 so struggle with jeans. These are perfect.

Erica891 · 09/11/2017 10:07

I agree Maine at Debenhams got some of the best jeans. I got two pairs last month and always wear them. So comfy.

Try river Island harper jeans....they are high waist and great for pulling the tummy in are are proper skinny.

Margomyhero · 14/11/2017 17:54

Levis 311 purchased today. Costco! They were about £35 with the vat. I didn't get to try them on in store of course but braved taking a 30x30. They fit perfectly. Nice and stretchy - may need a belt to ensure they don't slide down but will test them out.

I got a mid blue but there were darker shades and black so I may return shortly.

Sizes are tricky - they seem to have a lot in a 32 leg.i am tall but that is too long for me.Worth a look if you can get to Costco

I am loving m and s shape and lift jeans (£35) for stretch. They have way more stretch than any other jeans I've tried but don't stretch and stay stretched, they keep their stretch in them. They come up big. I am wearing a 10 and I am a 12-14 at the moment on my bottom half. The black ones don't come up as big as the denim colour ones. The rise is high on them too.

Margomyhero · 14/11/2017 18:20

Honeycake I own a pair of Levis already so I knew what size to go for. My old pair were a different style and size. I've lost a bit of weight so went down a size.

No changing rooms in my store. I have had to return items before now that don't fit. They are good at refunding but it's a distance from home.

OtterInDisgrace · 14/11/2017 18:22

I think I must be the only person left who hates jeans with any stretch in them. All I want is 100% cotton and you cannot find them for love nor money.

shhhfastasleep · 14/11/2017 18:23

Honey, same boat shape wise. As previously mentioned: NYDJ is the way forward. Second hand on eBay.
