Flattering post-pregnancy styles

I’d be grateful for any suggestions of flattering post-pregnancy clothes. DC is 3 months old and I’m keen to look and feel more like myself again, however my shape has totally changed after this pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I’m probably currently a size 10/12 and am 5ft 1 with a small waist (a kind of hourglass shape with a mum tum which is making me feel self-conscious). A lot of breastfeeding-suitable styles at the moment seem to swamp me (floaty embroidered dresses etc) or cling to the wrong places.

Any suggestions of current styles or items would be gratefully received!

Waterfall jackets are totally cool. They fit nicely around arms shoulders, but they drape a little at the front and look stylish.

Can’t ever go wrong with highwaisted jeans, they’ll hold the mum tum in and excentuate your smaller waist.

Wrap tops, they’re really flattering as the wrapped material doesn’t cling to you but does show off your shape AND quite easy to pop a boob out when needed?

Bardot tops are great, they cover your tummy and tops of arms but still quite flirty to have your décolletage out... and I’d say pretty easy to pop a boob out of also?

That’s all I’ve got! :) hope something there takes your fancy! Enjoy the mum tum though, it’s different but embrace it, YOU MADE A HUMAN!! And congrats on the little bundle of sleepless nights worry and utter heart melting overwhelming joy!!! FlowersStar

I second the high waist jeans - I have a 6 month old and I live in them now!! I got mine from M&S for £20 - I used to get the topshop ones and they were good but the material is quite thin

Thanks for the tips (and the kind words!) I love the look of the Topshop wrap top and high-waisted jeans sound like a winner too.
