Washable knitwear

I love cosy cashmere knits but I can't be arsed to handwash them. Does anyone have any recommendations for properly machine washable knits as in ones I can stick in a normal 30C cycle? The delicates wash on my machine lasts 30 mins and doesn't get anything even remotely clean.
I know it won't be quite the same as cashmere but any dupe recommendations would be appreciated from those as lazy as me

Uniqlo merino is machine washable and good quality.

I need to order some stuff from there to try out I think, there's no store near me so I've never tried anything. Do their merino jumpers wash well and not go baggy or bobbly?

I just got a really nice jumper from Other Stories mix of cotton and viscose with a bit of wool in the sale for 35 pounds. It washes well.

I think I need a shipping trip to London, my home town is lacking And Other Stories too!

Currently wearing a uniqlo merino jumper. Bought it last winter and it still looks like new. Not bobbled, not lost shape. It's fab.

Get a machine with a gentle and dedicated wool wash! Mine does all kinds of knits brilliantly.

How would Uniqlo fit a tallish (5’8”) Size 14/16? I’ve always thought it would be too small.

bikerunski It could be on the short side - lots of people on here recommend buying the men's merino jumpers as they're longer in the body. The sizes are small so you probably need to size up from your usual size. I'm a 10 with boobs and wear M or L in women's knitwear.

You might need to size up with uniqlo merino.

Oh, it’s so depressing when I need the largest size, and sometimes that doesn’t even fit.

I find woolover knits wash well on gentle 30°

They do lots of different wool types, lambs, merino, cashmere.

Uniqlo merino sizes also differ between colours. It's a pain to be L in one colour, M, in others and xs even!

I just bought a merino v neck from uniqlo - an a busty 12 and medium a nice neat fit, ( I’m short in the body) large was ok but a bit relaxed in style for me
