Navy tights and knee boots seem a bit clumpy with it. Any suggestions?

How about grey tights (to lighten it a bit), navy boots and grey scarf? Or navy tights with tan boots?

MulhuddartDrive · 04/11/2017 21:23

Didn't think of tan boots. Another reason to buy a new pair Wink

That’s nice, can I ask where the dress is from?

BeerBaby · 04/11/2017 21:26

Depends how daring you feel but red tights and navy boots could look fab if out with red accessories.

MulhuddartDrive · 04/11/2017 21:30

Oh, red? That would be different but I will think about it. Maybe purple?

Dress is Jaeger but I got it in the sale last new year, from an outlet, so I've no idea when it was in "real" stock.

Lovely dress. I like navy and mustard - either scarf or tights or cardi.
Love the idea of grey too - oh and bright red lippy too -a la current thread on wanting to be French.

Tan ankle boots.

user21 · 05/11/2017 07:42

How long is it on you? Above or below knee?

MulhuddartDrive · 05/11/2017 09:00

It's below the knee, mid calf. Going to try to find some grey ankle boots today and see how they look.

Grey ankle boots good.
Suede knee boots are less heavy than leather.
I also think it’s about ‘balance’, so wearing something darker over would help. A navy long cardigan?
