What is fashionable and suitable for winter that will keep my feet nice and dry, without ripping them to shreds?

I normally wear dune pumps but they’re just not suitable for winter.

I bought a, longer for, pair of leopard print loafers from dune but they nearly brought me to tears after ripping my ankles to shreds!

I tried another pair of black loafers from KG but they seem really wide fit and slip off my feet.

What are you wearing?

Must be flats, please!

Don't have any yet but Clark's Hamble oak brogues always get high praise

I like Ecco Basel Loafers, not sure if they are current though as mine are last year’s. They are so comfortable, lined with soft leather and really well made.

P.s. I am not fashionable.

To wear with trousers or skirts/dresses?

ChippyMinton · 04/11/2017 19:52

Brogues.

Almost all my work shoes come from Tracey Neuls. She isn’t cheap but her shoes are amazingly comfy and quite edgy.

Ankle boots. Most of them have heels, but I usually manage to find a pair of flats as well.

Dms work for me.

I wear brogues (Dune), loafers(Fitflops) chelsea boots (Jones the Bootmaker and Moda en Pelle) and trainers (mix of brands) to work at this time of year. I also have knee high boots that may be worn again in a year or two, they are years old from Boden.
