Can anyone recommend a facial toning device, for lifting [tightening]facial muscles,
Had bells palsy a few years ago, and one side of my face looks droopy compared to the other,
Would like to try to lift it a bit
Not Rio 60 second one, tried that you have to keep resetting it all the time
Thanks in advance

I have the Slendertone one, but haven't used it as much lately, as I have been having CACI facials, which seem to make more difference to me.

lovemylover · 04/11/2017 17:20

I had a slendertone one years ago, but now updated probably
I was thinking of trying the caci, we have a salon here that does it,
Do you find it makes a real difference?
I might enquire, are the treatments expensive? and do you have to go very regularly to see the results
Thanks for reply
I could do with a one sided face lift, lol

CACI was originally a medical machine, so I would think it was worth a go, if you have the budget for it. Slendertone machine was quite expensive though anyway. Round these parts, about 45 pound per session. You need about 10 to start with, doing about 2 a week to see results, and I'm now having one per month, so expensive at first, but I have now have the CACI instead of other stuff. I buy them in a block which works out slightly cheaper. I found it made a real difference, and it has worked on my 'churchill chops'. I am told I look much younger than my age, and I will keep on going with them, so long as I can afford it.

Thank you ,i will ask on Monday ,don't think its quite as expensive here,i did try it a long time ago, just a trial session I think it was.
Just looked at reviews on you tube and the nu face looks quite good, but I will see about the caci first, don't want to waste money on something that might or might not work, or is too time consuming
The slendertone I had was fiddly with wire etc,and didn't make any difference

Hi,

I'm just thinking about getting myself started with facial toning device. Only want to know if it works or not? Did you see any positive results with the machine? Please provide your feedback. Thank you!

Nu face is good if you use it faithfully every day, they all vary,i recently tried a project E, one from Amazon, but it got very hot and i now have an awful bumpy rash on my face, so returned it,i still have a nu face which i will continue using and i think it makes a difference but as i said you need to use if regularly.
Also have a look on youtube, just put in facial toning devices

alicegn · 07/11/2018 11:10

Thanks for the advice. I just check out few reviews here: www.10machines.com/microcurrent-face-lift-machines/ and decided to purchase NuFace from Amazon. So far, the experience is wonderful and I'm glad that I purchased this device. It's expensive but worth every cent in my opinion.

crumbledumptious · 07/11/2018 11:58

how about some daily facial yoga!? Amazing for toning facial muscles

10 mins a day!
princesstiasmum · 07/11/2018 12:43

Alicegn Did you get the Nu Face Trinity or the mini,
You say you bought it from Amazon, if you had got it from their own website Current Body you probably would have got it much vheaper
I hve just replaced my Nuface mini, fromCurrent body, and got it about £50 cheaper, they also have a 90 day trial, where if you dont like it you can return it
Strangely my new one doesnt seem as strong a microcurrent as my old one, which stopped working

alicegn · 08/11/2018 08:01

princesstiasmum ... I bought NuFace Trinity for $325 at Amazon. I also checked their official website. The price is exactly the same, while Amazon also provides free shipping. I always buy things from there, so it was my preference. I guess it's sold by the same manufacturer at the store and that's why the price is similar. So far, the device is working great. I will also provide my feedback after few months of use.

princesstiasmum · 08/11/2018 08:32

I AM THINKING OF GETTING THE TRNITY INSTEAD OF THE MINI, AS IT HAS 2 MORE HIGHER STRENGTHS THAN THE MINI
aCCORDING TO cURRENT bODYS WEBSITE AT £250
So sorry caps on by accident
Isee yours was $ not £ so are you in the US? not sure how that works out converted
I am pleased you like it, i have until the 4th of January to either keep or return this, so i will be having a think about what to do

alicegn · 08/11/2018 08:47

It's £22 cheaper if we convert dollars into £. I guess the VAT is less in UK.

Yes, I'm from Gardena, USA. Check out the Black Friday deals when available to get some discount, if you want to return it earlier.

princesstiasmum · 08/11/2018 10:04

Thank you,i will have a look,i did try a radiofrequency device which also worked in the same way as the Nuface, but with red light, but it got very hot and brought me out in a rash which then blistered
I would like a bit more strength though
