Tights for fat women

Any recommendations?
Just tried on a new pair from Sainsbirys. L/XL so 5'5-5'8 size 20-22.
I'm. 5-'4.5 size 20.

Yes again, the pull up my legs fine but there's literally barely any material above the crotch. Can't get the waist band above my hips.

I have similar problem with lots of tights bu4.it can't just we me surely? I might be fat but I'm comfortably within their weight/height sizes.

Any one know any decent ones? I want thick winter tights, prefer wooley

heist are eliminating all the classic problems and launching their new size 16 to 24 range on the 15th. they look ace and I'm primed to buy some - google em :)

I quite like M&S - not sure if they do big girl woolly ones, but I have had their larger sized 60+ denier tights and they fit really well (also wash really well too!)

I bought some great ones off eBay, I have a painful tummy complaint and tights can’t be tight. They were great. I’m a 20-22 but these were great.

I find the largest primark ones fit me best and they come right up to under my boobs

‘Thought’ have a sale on and they are amazing.

The Primark shaper ones (60 or 80 denier) come up really high on me, and I have a long body. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and still wearing the XL ones.

I 4th the M&S ones.

I'm between sizes so went for the larger ones - XL - and they are brilliant. Loads of material at the top, no rolling down my stomach into a sausage!

I love the Yours tights and also Spanx do some great ones but they are expensive.

I'm always annoyed by manufacturers assuming that if you're a size 20, you are also 8 feet tall. Most tights that are a comfy fit in the thighs, arse and waist are several inches too long.

Like most trousers and jeans. Petite too short, regular too long. Pfffft.

I find the Primark ones fit really well too. Next I find to be a bit small.

I’m still wearing maternity tights because they come up so high (I’m a size 14-16 and a year post partum), I got them from Boots. They come right up to my bra line, and I can’t abide tights that feel like they don’t come up high enough.

I also wear thick M&S tights and can also attest that they hold their shape well.

Primark do (or did) a curvy range which are great - come right up to under my boobs! Primark tights are the best in my opinion. Wash well and seem to last for ages, better than M & S.

I love the m&s autograph velvet touch ones. Lots of room around the tummy area and they sit nicely on your waist. I’m a size 22 and wear the xl ones.

Thanks ladies. Off to M&S and Primary next week. Don't have to be woolly but I have some knee length skirts so they need to be thick so will try some of the thick denier ones too.

Sometimes I find them not long enough in the leg which is crazy at 5ft 4.5 .

The Primark curvy range was bloody amazing. Sadly, my nearest Primark hasn't had them for months. I've given up with all the other brands and got ASOS ones as I have big thighs and their opaques fit me really well (hurrah!)
