Mother of the groom emergency. Can anyone help?

My lovely friend has her sons wedding a week on Saturday. She thought she had her outfit all sorted but tried it on and now doesn’t feel it works. Her DH confirmed this feeling by hesitating before giving his opinion.

So now she has a lovely long fitted cream jacket but nothing to wear with it. We were thinking an antique rose silk long skirt would be lovely but after a major search online we can’t find one anywhere. She is tall 5’ 10”. Can anyone think of anywhere we might have not thought of that might stock such a thing. Thanks so much.

Is the bride ok with her wearing a long white coat to her wedding?

It’s dark cream and is a long jacket but shorter than coat - hip length. I think with other colours and accessories it won’t look bridal but that’s a good point.

I honestly would get her to check. Some brides will be bothered, some will not but I definitely think it would be best to sound it out.
