Laser hair consultation patch test

Could anyone tell me what you need to do concerning upper lip hair for a laser hair consultation patch test. Do you just go as you are for them to do the test, as one person on the helpline suggested stubble was needed? Asking for a friend who can’t get a clear answer from the clinic. Thanks!

Yes the hair follicles need to be visible so no waxing, shaving, plucking for 2 days before appointment. A good clinic should be able to give very clear instructions regarding what’s needed so it’s a bit worrying it’s proving hard to get that info from them.

And forgot to say no makeup, moisturiser around the area to be tested. My place gives you wipe if you tell them you have any products on your face.

Gives you a wipe to remove any makeup I mean.
