New bag: Michael Kors or Coach

Feel MK is everywhere at the moment, looking for a less popular brand, like the Coach bags, would you suggest any other brands around the same pricing?

Thanks.

Furla

DressageNut · 30/10/2017 18:11

Coach are lovely. Agree, Furla make some very nice ones too.

Russell and Bromley also worth a look.

SouthWestmom · 30/10/2017 18:16

I have rediscovered Radley actually, if you ignore the stupid dog and weird loud prints.

There are some lovely bags there.

SouthWestmom · 30/10/2017 18:19

This is nice

I dont get the fuss over MK.

Coach or Fossil, fossjl is amazing brand and great watches too

mintich · 30/10/2017 18:28

Russell and Bromley or Kurt Geiger

Theworldisfullofidiots · 30/10/2017 19:11

I have a coach bag that has been going strong for 10 years plus. It's my every day bag. So I'd recommend that.

Frazzled2207 · 30/10/2017 19:40

Coach far nicer than MK IMO
However check out Fossil too which is much cheaper

Tantpoke · 30/10/2017 20:14

MK bags are the only ones that make me inwardly cringe. No idea why they just do.

April19 · 30/10/2017 20:19

Re MK, I know, I see ladies wearing the bag with a tracksuit and I absolutely cringe, Coach it is then I think. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Coach, no question.

Justoneme · 30/10/2017 20:22

Coach all the way; they are classic. MK are for wannabes.

Aderyn17 · 30/10/2017 20:26

Coach, without doubt. The only fossil bag I had, the leather started peeling off the straps so I wasn't overly impressed.
MK have some lovely designs but I think Coach are beautifully made for the money and are more classic imo.

WhooooAmI24601 · 30/10/2017 21:11

Coach for sure. Or a pre-loved Mulberry for not much more. There are some great Facebook groups for Mulberry and Coach bags, too.

AnaWinter · 30/10/2017 21:14

Michael Kors are hideous. He sold out. Anything literally anything but Michael Kors. In addition to Coach there is also Marc Jacobs and See by Chloe around the same price point.

MinesaPinot · 31/10/2017 09:09

Coach, Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade or Russell and Bromley are all my go-to's. And Longchamp for the 'sling it all in and carry the kitchen sink' type bags.

I work in London and Michael Kors and the Louis Vuitton Neverfull (either legit or knocked off) are very popular amongst the Young Things (or that's certainly the case in my firm).

Westcott313 · 31/10/2017 10:37

Do Coach have good sales?

Aderyn17 · 31/10/2017 10:58

Coach have fab sales. Def worth holding out for

PNGirl · 31/10/2017 11:00

My coach is beautiful. I'm using it today. Also indestructible.

I also like my Fossil bags.

merrygoround51 · 31/10/2017 11:01

Coach. MK have become quite 'common' whereas Coach are pretty classic

PricillaQueenOfTheDesert · 31/10/2017 11:06

I love my Fossil for everyday use, have a Radley too, that’s nice for everyday use as it’s fairly solid and cleans beautifully.

WanderingTrolley1 · 31/10/2017 11:06

Coach.

Are you anywhere near Bicester? there is a huge coach shop there. Last year I went around black friday (only a couple of weeks away) and got 25% an already reduced bag.

Although not the same colours, but the same bag was on their website for nearly £500 and i got it for £125. It's used every day and is lasting really well

Arealhumanbeing · 31/10/2017 12:33

Furla or Marc Jacobs.
