Christmas Dress/outfit

LavenderDoll · 29/10/2017 09:05

I am curvy fat 16/18
I need an outfit for work Christmas do
I have a big tummy and I hate my arms
I don't have a massive budget either
I know I know I'm asking a lot but I'm so bloody sick and tired of just being invisible and want to feel glam for the night.
If anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated
I'm more of a dress person but any ideas welcome
Thanks in advance

What height are you?
What's your favourite shop?
Any slebs you think always 'get it right'?

TheEmpressWears · 29/10/2017 10:45

with a bra that costs more than the dress

LavenderDoll · 29/10/2017 10:57

5ft 7
Don't really have a favourite shop .. I like Elsies attic website
I usually wear a v neck we my boobs are probably my best only asset

Thank you so much
I never find anything like these suggestions
I guess if you hate what you look like you struggle to see past that
But these dresses are lovely

TheEmpressWears · 29/10/2017 11:13

It was fun! I'm a totally different height/shape so it was fun looking at dresses through a diffreent lens!

HOpefully somebody else will come along with more suggestions.

This is gorgeous on but you might need a smaller size to avoid the tent/ pregnant look..sizing is too big...swing dresses are great for covering tums and bare arms.

This one's sold out at Wallis, but might be available in Debs or in-store.
I've bought it for my do, it's super flattering as it's a proper wrap, not a faux one.
