Is this dress appropriate for a wedding...?

Got a wedding next weekend, all day invite. Need to wear something I already own (I have a habit of buying dresses without anything to wear them to..)

Want to wear this dress as ive lost a lot of weight recently and like the fact I can wear things like this, but not sure if its appropriate for a day guest at a wedding?

If it makes any difference, we are the young(ish) pals of the groom so more able to bend the rules and traditions slightly...😂

With a jacket at a push. More for clubbing tbh.

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 28/10/2017 21:46

It’s nice but it is very revealing and might not be that comfortable.

gingerbreadmam · 28/10/2017 21:47

Oh gosh no don't do it. It's too much. You probably look amazing in it but not to a wedding.

Ginmakesitallok · 28/10/2017 21:47

I wouldn't. Even when I was young and slim I wouldn't.

RefuseTheLies · 28/10/2017 21:47

Not really.

Pattyandbump · 28/10/2017 21:47

Not appropriate at all IMO.

Nettletheelf · 28/10/2017 21:47

I think that it’s a bit - sorry - tarty for a wedding. Even the website talks about ‘turning heads on your next night out’. But each to their own!

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 28/10/2017 21:47

Fabulous dress and I'm envious you have the figure to pull it off, but won't you be cold?

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 28/10/2017 21:47

Too much skin, sorry.

OfficerGrant · 28/10/2017 21:48

Nope

Katescurios · 28/10/2017 21:48

I think its a bit too risque. I think short or backless, but both makes it inappropriate to my taste.

JesusTapdancingChrist · 28/10/2017 21:48

Where's the dress?

I can only see an elaborate hanky in your link??

Maverick66 · 28/10/2017 21:48

No! You would stand out but for all the wrong reasons.

Orangebird69 · 28/10/2017 21:48

No. Just no.

BrutusMcDogface · 28/10/2017 21:49

Bloody hell! No, I'm sorry; it's far too revealing imo. I think you should dress so as not to take attention off the bride, ha! Though you could maybe put a jacket on, as per a pp. if you have the right one, it could sit just on the bow so that it's not covered up.

superking · 28/10/2017 21:49

Eeek I don't think so. Looks more like something to wear clubbing. Even with a jacket over it for the daytime it is still very short and tight and just inappropriate for a wedding. Sorry.

MsMarvel · 28/10/2017 21:49

Dann, I guessed as much tbh. I do have a few different options, ill just need to put that back in the wardrobe for a different occasion!

I don’t think so really. Maybe for just the evening part at a push but not as you’re an all day guest. Definitely wear it to show off your achievement but not to a wedding.

SimplyNigella · 28/10/2017 21:49

Totally inappropriate and at risk of looking like you're trying to upstage the bride.

Redglitter · 28/10/2017 21:50

Nope definitely not for a wedding

TheMasterNotMargarita · 28/10/2017 21:51

Really, really not.
It's a lovelt colour but way too small.

timeisnotaline · 28/10/2017 21:51

Nope!

JigglyTuff · 28/10/2017 21:52

You’re serious? Of course it isn’t
