Has anyone tried to DIY dye a leather bag?

@ReallyConvolutedCareerHistory

I have. World out very well indeed but was hard work and nerve-racking at times! Are you looking to renovate or full colour change?

Hi Tugtupite

I'm looking to change the colour of a light pink to black.

The picture looks better in real life. In real life you can see the colour transfer. Plus, I don't really use light bags.

Right...this is the best collection of info for the job:

forum.purseblog.com/threads/dyeing-a-kooba-a-different-color.935620/

I used fiebings deglazer/dye/resolene too (as per the above link, but it's not my blog) and would say that preparation and using the correct products is the key here. Don't be tempted by shortcuts...I have seen many more bad (uneven, peely, leaky) dye jobs than good ones!
