That is the preserve of the young, lithe and peachy and can be worn for about two years before it needs to be handed down to their younger sisters. Having said that, perhaps we could use it to bring sexy back among the middle aged and wide of hip? Who'll go first?

My god daughter (22) wore something like that recently. Hers was quite glittery, so may have been the same one. She carried it off. I wouldn’t have done.

I think your festival-going, tiny shorts with Hunter wellingtons sort could pull that off. You'd need to be very posh in order to offset the apparent cheapness of the item and not too curvy otherwise it would get a bit tarty. Basically it's not one for me
