Help. Which jeans style? In danger of looking past it.....

I am 40, size 12 ish. I desperately need new jeans having worn holes in my final old faithful. For the past few years I have worn nothing but Mint Velvet dark indigo stretch skinnies.

I wear jeans a lot- dressed up and down.

I am wondering if this style is beginning to look old fashioned. Sometimes I feel they look a bit 'sprayed on'.

I don't know where to start with bringing my jean style up-to-date. I don't need to be 'bang on trend' as they say, but I'd like to look stylish.
Can anyone give me some help please?

Try a thicker fabric, usually described as 'authentic' for your skinnies. Also ankle grazer length not longer. The new Topshop Sidney and some of the Jamie are like this. More modern looking than the thin stretchy type jeans.

Slim leg rather than skinny (or wide legged crops if you want to be really up to date!), agree no longer than anklegrazer, you'll need nice socks Grin or those sock boots. A stripe down the outside seam would also be trendy.

Thank you!
