Returns ... do you take extra insurance on them?

Usually I wouldn’t dream of it but have a few larger value returns with free postage. Small print on website says retailer isn’t liable for loss or damage in transit. What’s the best way ... pay postage and extra for more insurance (I’m making the assumption it’s covered for the bog standard RM £50) or get proof of postage and let it go with prepaid label?

Ta!

Depends on what you're retuning. What is the value of the items?

It's all relative. I returned some Valentino Rockstuds which are £600+ and it cost approx £25 to return them fully insured for their full value but I returned £80 shoes on free returns as would only lose £30 if they were lost (which does happen)!

More like the value of the Rockstuds which was why I am curious ! Thanks!
