Bra size help

Hi I recently lost a stone in weight and was a 34dd probably on the large size. I have lost weight from my breasts so I went to get measured and was told I'm still a 34dd. I don't think I am I'm sure I'm a cup size smaller now. Can anyone tell me what a size down from 34dd would be is it 34d?

Where did you get measured? If either were at Marks and Spencers then that will explain it as they are now becoming well known as the worst!

That's a shame - try John Lewis instead, as they stock similar brands to Bravissimo and much better. Failing that, Debenhams aren't bad either. Do your old 34DD bras's feel big now?

M&S don't know what they're doing. Use the calculator then if you can't get to a Bravissimo, order a few bras in the sizes it suggests and see how they fit. The band should be quite tight to start with, it gets bigger with use and washing. The cups should sit flat. But different styles will fit different boobs. Are yours quite round so would work in a tshirt style? Or do you have more weight at the bottom and less at the top? If so balcony styles might work better. It's a bit of trial an error.

My breasts have lost fullness from the top so the 34dd cup seems too big at the top now and I don't feel as well supported.

Well measure yourself using the boob or bust guide then experiment with different styles to see what fits you best. I think balconette styles suit breasts that are fuller at the bottom rather than plunge styles. But they only way to find out is to try.

Go anywhere but M&S. I bet you're probably a 30 back!
