Skin reacting to alcohol

Red wine sends my skin a bit crazy and the morning after I look rough as . Does anyone else get this with alcohol?

I think so... My skin has really cleared in pregnancy so not sure if that is down to abstinence or being lucky with preg hormones! But it is noticeable - normally I'd have red patches and discolouration around my t-zone.

I had a reaction to some wine once where my face went bright red and sore - I couldn't go out for days. It's only happened once and I've no idea why it happened with that particular wine.

I get a horrible sore flushed face when I drink. I use some of the alcohol to wash down an antihistamine 😀

Yes definitely - last year I stopped drinking for 5 months, and when I look back at photos my skin was the best it’s ever been. Red wine is bad for me but beer is as well - I get redness and uneven texture and just horrid dullness. Need to give up again!!

Rosacea? I rarely drink wine outside my own home as it makes me flush.
