Nail colour to complement navy bridesmaids dress

Hi,

As my thread title suggests really!

Bride is very easy going and doesn't really mind what colour I go for. Dress is on the slightly brighter side of navy.
Having gel polish done tomorrow and was considering a navy polish but I'm concerned it may be a little too 'vampy' for a wedding.
Any ideas?

Definitely neutral. Either clear, French polish or simple pale pink

Yes, a pale pink was what I was thinking, I'm not really a fan of French polish, it never looks quite right on my nails as they're not a very elegant shape, if that makes sense!

I'd go for a pinky nude colour. There are some lovely ones around.

A bright raspberry pink will look gorgeous with navy.

No not neutral, I love navy.
Would agree with the raspberry colour. You want bright not dull.

My bridesmaids wore navy, I put raspberry pink shoes and nails with them, it was fab

Ok, the shoes are gold if that changes things?
A couple of the other bridesmaids aren't wearing any polish (there's 6 of us) I was worried that a very bold or bright colour might make me stand out in photos etc

What colour are the flowers etc? I’d go for something that matches those

If the shoes are good if probably be tempted to go for a matte gold nail varnish to tie it all in together.

Button holes are yellow and peacock, she isn't having a traditional bouquet (allergies!)
