@dollypartonsbeard, would you mind posting a photo of the one you're recommending? It was the Bourjois display that overwhelmed me. Thanks.

Agent here you go. I got the 33 Rose Beige shade.

Thanks. I'll pop into Boots on my way home from work and check out the shades.

If I used the Bourjois CC cream, would I need tinted moisturiser as well (I used Nivea stuff ATM)? Or do you use CC cream instead of tinted moisturiser?

I have horrible hormonal acne every fucking where on my chins

I have the Rimmel BB cream. I don’t tend to use a normal foundation now, just this and a fuller coverage concealer where needed. I find that it makes my skin look so soft and smooth, and doesn’t cling to dry patches like some foundations do. Not quite as long lasting as a foundation, but doesn’t seem to fade unevenly either Smile

Cliff i just use it over my a few drops of Superdrug Naturally Radiant oil and a dab of blurring primer or balm to fill in the pores (I'm oscillating between Clinique and Makeup Revolution at the mo). Then I spot-conceal any glaring spots or hyperpigmentation with Benefit Boing on a small brush. Vague dab of powder to set it.

DollyPartonsBeard · 17/10/2017 09:20

Cottonwool i think I may do the same. I've been erring towards lighter foundations for the past few years (thanks L'Oréal for discontinuing Nude Magique Angry) as it seems to suit my ageing skin better.i always thought 'dewy' was a no-no for my oilyish skin but actually the hint of glow makes the wrinkles and lines look nicer and less trench-like. I'm so pleased I stepped out of my comfort zone!

Do a bit of research first though. Some of the ones that have been recommended are from brands that test on animal.

Trills · 17/10/2017 19:53

You don't need tinted moisturiser as well, because it IS tinted moisturiser, only it thinks it is fancy.
