If you only had one minute to spend on your face or less than, as you woke up late or something, what would your super quick makeup routine be? I’d put some product on my eyebrows and put a coat of mascara and some Vaseline/chapistick.

OP posts:
JKR123 · 15/10/2017 19:43

I'm ashamed to say since having children I rarely bother with make up. I keep a powder compact in my car and if I have the time and can remember I apply some before driving off Blush

AnonEvent · 15/10/2017 19:44

Loose powder or Bare Minerals to even put and deshine.

Mascara (Charlotte Tilbury).

Lipgloss (any old thing).

And pinch my cheeks as I leave the house, like my granny told me to to get a good rouge-on.

Tatapie · 15/10/2017 19:45

Tinted moisturiser, mascara, lipstick

Callamia · 15/10/2017 19:45

Sounds like my actual life.
Laura Mercier mineral powder
Bobbi Brown blusher

Job done

MeatAndPotato · 15/10/2017 19:45

Undercoverbanana
OP asked what your quick makeup routine would be, not what your 1 minute routine would be in general

MeatAndPotato · 15/10/2017 19:47

Haha got to love toast I have just realised you have had that explained to you now Undercoverbanana, apologies.

Undercoverbanana · 15/10/2017 19:52

No worries Meat. Toast IS my make-up routine. I like to feel clean - quick shower, clean teeth - I don't do powder and paint. I DO do food. :-)

MeatAndPotato · 15/10/2017 19:59

Go you, it must feel liberating bieng fresh faced all the time and sparkly!
I usually eat whilst I do my makeupBlush and drink coffee/tea or a shake of some sort. swish swish with makeup, pick up food and chew, swallow, slurp beverage, swallow, and repeatGrin

Flisspaps · 15/10/2017 20:01

I’d brush my hair.

EggysMom · 15/10/2017 20:02

I'm with Undercoverbanana, but I'm not sure my toaster can cook the extra slice in a minute. So I'll go for 60 seconds of deep breathing and focussing my mind on the day ahead. That'll help me relax my facial muscles and put a more natural smile on my face Smile

Undercoverbanana · 15/10/2017 20:31

Meat - I wouldn't say I'm fresh-faced and sparkly, exactly, but I would (and do) prioritise food over pampering and face-painting. I think I look weird in make-up, although people say my eyes look nice when I wear mascara (before it runs or I sweat it off). I am very envious of high-maintenance people. I just don't understand how it all works.

Whitelisbon · 15/10/2017 21:56

I'm with undercoverbanana too.
I don't even own any make up since dd1 stole it all, and ds2 drew a pretty picture with my last remaining lipstick on Friday.

Lanaorana2 · 15/10/2017 22:13

Primer, mascara, nude lipgloss stick and brows. Smudge some coloured eyeliner round while on bus.

Hippadippadation · 15/10/2017 22:30

Eyebrows, mascara, squirt of perfume.

itsbetterthanabox · 15/10/2017 22:53

Concealor, powder, mascara

Bloomed · 15/10/2017 22:57

This happens regularly here and I do foundation and blush

neveradullmoment99 · 15/10/2017 22:57

wash face, moisturise, spf and some eyeliner and mascara.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 15/10/2017 23:06

Mascara and concealer. I keep my lip balm and about 6 lipsticks in my handbag anyway so can add one on the bus!

FernetBranca · 15/10/2017 23:15

Right,

Bare minerals complexion rescue
(Skip concealer, dab on some extra bits as needed)
Quick brush of some bare minerals perfecting veil powder.
Bobbi brown brightening brick: medium brush over eyelids a few times then general swooshing with bigger brush in right places on cheeks etc.
Bobbi brown brow thing (have some grey brow hairs grr)
Lancôme mascara, quick one coat on upper lashes

Bobbi brown lip balm (petal) as I walked along.

I could do that in just over a minute and would look ok 😊

BillywigSting · 15/10/2017 23:19

Eyeliner mascara and lip stain then balm. Concealer on dark/red bits, glasses to hide the rest. This is essentially what I do every day. It takes as long as the kettle does to boil (and the lip stain really is a stain, it doesn't budge at all)

OCSockOrphanage · 16/10/2017 12:08

One Powder Wonder brushed all over face, eye brows filled in with pencil, mascara. Perfume. Coral/orange lip colour from a chubby stick.

BaconAndBees · 16/10/2017 13:38

Eye liner, mascara, blusher. May look like a clown but could just about do it.

Wtfdoicare · 16/10/2017 14:54

Moisturiser, sunscreen, blusher and concealer, quick eyeliner sweep

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 16/10/2017 14:59

In a minute, I could throw on blusher, brow powder and mascara, which are the three things I need not to look like a corpse.

Going make-up free (Full Corpse) today though, as I think my skin likes a day or two make-up free each week.

MissWilmottsGhost · 16/10/2017 15:05

If I only had one minute before going out I would definitely spend it having a wee Blush
