Is it normal to visibly age in 7 years?

I was looking at photos of myself at a wedding 7 years ago and I look completely different.

Of course I know I will have aged in that time but my skin doesn't have a single line or sag in the pictures but now I am really looking my age, with bags and jowls and wrinkles around my eyes.

Plus I have put on weight and I can't shift that half stone which isn't much but makes me feel uncomfortable and I am squeezing into my clothes at the moment.

It's normal ageing isn't it but shame I didn't appreciate how I looked then!

Yes. 7 years is quite a long time!!!
I started ageing visibly at 45. I dont have too many lines on my face but its my neck that lets me down. I put it down to a mixture of age and late pregnancies, weight gain and loss. Its depressing. Ive largely accepted that my neck looks like shite and there is nothing that i have tried that improves it :(

I just try and focus on the good parts of my face. I dont have too many forehead lines. Lines around my right eye are slightly more pronounced. No lines around my mouth as yet. Good plump high cheek bones too.

Are you serious?! Of course!! (Just to echo 352 other posters 😂)

I'm 35 and when I look at photos of myself even four years ago, I cannot bloody believe how young I look. My skin is smooth, I have no wrinkles and no grey hairs, and I don't have the ridiculous flyaway baby hairs around my face that I blame my children for. Co-incidentally, I had my first child four years ago...
