Update my jeans

I live in skinny or girlfriend jeans and want to up my jeans game. But am bamboozled by all the choice! Do I go for ripped, raw hem, embroidered or pearl? Are any of these dated already? Is there something I'm missing?

Those are all quite disposable looks. You could get some wide legged crops, that's a silhouette that will probably be around for a bit. But it depends what suits you and your lifestyle and how much you want a quick fashion bit vs buying something that will last a few years.
