I'm trying to be cruelty free as much as possible and now that winter is coming and my skin has lost all colour and started mis behaving a bit I need to step up from BB cream to something with a bit more coverage.

I really wanted chanel vitalumier aqua but it's not cruelty free so looking for alternatives that are readily available - I've done some googling and a lot of them seemed to be American companies or only available to buy online and I really want to try some samples first.

TIA :)

Not tried it yet but going to check out Kat Von D foundation when my B (Superdrug) one is finished.

Too-Faced are cruelty free, you can get it in Debenhams. Tarte are as well but there's only QVC who sell them - their returns policy is great though.

Too Faced is also still on PETA’s cruelty free list, despite the L’Oréal connection

DD uses:

Kat Von D primer
Laura Mercier powder
Too Faced foundation

She says the KVD foundation is too heavy in coverage for her and has put Laura Mercier foundation on her Christmas wishlist

She's got a Naars foundation ( for summer so not wearing at the moment) but there's news that they aren't Cruelty Free now (but were when she bought it)

Illamasqua has stayed cruelty free I believe but I couldn’t recommend their foundation myself. Their primers are fab though.

Urban decay naked foundation is good and a good medium coverage/ not a mask
