I'm getting my nose pierced in the morning!

Have wanted it done for years. Have finally decided to go for it as a reward to myself for losing 25lbs and 15st of useless boyfriend in the last few months.

Any tips? So far I've decided on which side I'm getting done and I know to:

  • have it done with a needle not a gun
  • get a stud at first (will be changing to a hoop when it's healed)
  • use saline solution daily to keep it clean

Am watching YouTube videos and wincing but then I remember that I've birthed 2 DC, one without pain relief so it'll be a doddle.......right?!

Maybe put a plaster over it when you go to bed? Like in school and you had to cover it for PE?!

Nothing to do with the nose piercing but I love that lipstick

helen it's Maybelline Creamy Matte lipstick in Touch of Spice.

It's one of my all time favourite, especially for this time of year. Not sure if it's been discontinued but it's pretty hard to find over here. I got my last one on eBay from a US seller Smile.

I've just bought it off Amazon

@Growuphelen me too!

You can make your own saline, you can also use saline sold to store contact lenses.

The one thing I have noticed is that noses heal up very quickly so do keep jewelry in.

Nice one helen and Accidentally - it's such a flattering colour and has a lovely formula.

sashh - I've used the 'recipe' my piercer gave me to clean it today. Quarter of a teaspoon of rock salt into a cup of boiling water. Used a cotton bud and it satisfyingly got rid of the little bit of blood that was around the piercing. It looks like it's doing well, no green stuff/unwanted lumps or bumps and I've managed to not get it tangled in anything so far #winning 😂.

Looks fabulous

Oh, that sounds really cool! I want to make one on my low lip too, however I'm still not sure if it fits me xDD
I'm also curious are the feelings very painful after making it and during some time for healing?
