Root touch up?

I used to have my roots dyed every month but I can’t afford it. I’d like to stretch it out to every 3 months.

I’ve got some greys showing but not loads. Has anyone used that magic root thing? Would this work to cover some of the grey?

Yes, I think it's really good. Not sure how long you'd want to use it between salon visits but you might as well try. I also use the Nice and Easy cheapest/ non permanent/8 wash in wash out colour on my roots and leave it on for an hour instead of the suggested 15 minutes and it covers roots too but no evidence of it when you go back to salon! You only seem to be able to find it in Superdrug. My Mum rates the Superdrug own root spray too but I preferred the Loreal. Might depend on your hair colour.

Thank you. I’ll definitely give it a try. I’ve gone two months since my last salon visit. I didn’t realise it’s so long. As my hard is black the odd grey root is noticeable

It is good stuff, but there's never really enough of it (for my thick hair, anyway). I just by a box dye of a close-enough colour and use that for the roots.
