Nice first aftershave for 16 yo DS

Not long ago DS was not remotely interested in this, but now all of a sudden he'd like to "smell nice". Which aftershaves/men's fragrances are nice for boys this age? I hate anything too overpowering like Farenheit (though obviously I'm not the demographic DS is trying to please!). Can you suggest a few nice, fresh-smelling ones that aren't too grown-up for a boy this age?

Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier.

DS liked the 007 aftershave when he first started shaving. He now has Ralph Lauren Polo Red or Calvin Klein Eternity.

POLICE To Be is lovely both of my two teens love it, it’s in a very trendy pale blue glass skull, and not too expensive.

My 16 year old DS uses Joop Homme.

Paul Smith ones are lovely and not expensive.

Bodyshop do about 3 different ones. The Kistna one is citrussy and light (not Lynx like!) buy when they have their regular 40-50% off offers.

Paul Smith "Sunshine" is a good choice. DS17 likes David Beckham Instinct (the original one). I would say any of the lighter fragrances would be good options: Calvin Klein or Issey Mayake both have fresh mineral scents.

Thanks everyone. I got him a Paul Smith one in the end - was amazed to find it for only £18 for 100ml! Lovely clean fresh fragrance, I'm sure he'll like it.
