Is there such a thing (bra question)?

As a soft bralet/cropped top with side support rather than sports style which squashes 'em flat and into my armpits?

I'm a 14-16 on top with a bra size of 32f/34e and keep going bra less at home but age and gravity isnt kind so I'd like some kind of comfy soft top to wear.

I used to wear triangle bras, which have the effect you're after but I was only a 28C. I might still get away with them now I'm an E but I'm breastfeeding so nice underwear is a distant memory and they don't offer a lot of support for bigger busts in general. However this looks good www.gossard.com/products/Bras/Plunge/Superboost-Lace-Deep-V-Bralet/Black?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl9eNqaft1gIVUBDTCh2YqwkfEAQYDCABEgKZjfD_BwE and is available in your size. I think the deep band will provide more support, but the shape won't squash your boobs into your armpits. And it isn't ugly!

Thank you silkpyjamas, very helpful. I think I'll order one of those as they're nice enough to wear when going out. The style looks ideal too re not pushing everything flat into the armpits so I'll try searching for something that shape but not lacy for when I'm slobbing working at home. 32f sounds like it should be big but really it isn't (not on me anyway).

I like Genie bras. The genuine ones, rather than the knockoffs, are cleverly woven to give a bit more support and shape.

Having said that, I just googled and couldn’t find any, but they turn up in pound shops every so often.

This is the bra of bras! Honestly I won't wear anything else. It has a very short bone in the side to give it shape but is super comfortable. Primark used to do one almost the same but they have stopped selling. They come up small in the back though - I am usually a 32-24 D and had to send back the 34 and buy the 36.

Never heard of Genie bras but I'll have a look, thanks wombling.

I like the look of that one lucy but I can't find it on the M & S website (would need to buy 2 or 3 different sizes that I could return if the sizing is off).
