Basic crew neck jumpers like hush but cheaper

Last year I got a couple of great plain crew neck jumpers from H&M which I have worn to death over the year and need to replace. I love the hush grey cashmere one but can’t really go over £50 so that’s out. H&M seem a bit crap this year on knitwear for some reason. I’m struggling to find them!

I just want them to go with skinnies/fake leather leggings/joggers. Any ideas?

Uniqlo! They have them in light merino and cashmere. The quality is really nice for the price. Unfortunately though for some reason the Hush crews flatter me but not the Uniqlo ones. I have a large chest and the neckline on the Uniqlo ones is just a little too harsh.

You need to go a size or two up though. In Hush I wear a small and in Uniqlo a large for the same fit!

Woolovers are great quality.

I got men's merino ones from Boohoo Men for about £10 each. Nice and snuggly - longish arms but I like them rolled up anyway.

I share your pain about H&M. Very, very disappointing this season.

I second Uniqlo for merino wool but not for cashmere - it's highly rated on here but I personally found it absolute shite.

Landsend knitwear is worth a look.

I've always found Pure Collection good, although I've seen posters who've bought more recently than me say the quality's gone down. It's over budget but I think there's a sale on at the moment.

Thanks for all the advice! I’m going to go looking now.

I had been eyeing the uniqlo so I think I’ll size up as you say (small boobs so the neckline might be ok on me?) and give them a go too.
