Sixth form dress-code is 'office-wear'. For ds this is smart shoes, dark chinos and a plain polo-shirt. He needs a jacket of some sort. It needs to be relaxed enough that he can still carry his backpack, but smart enough to pass muster, as in winter he is likely to continue wearing it during the day. He says that his hoodie and his walking fleece are not suitable.
Any ideas?
