Rocket Dog Shoes and Boots how wide?

IamEarthymama · 09/10/2017 11:45

I have wide feet and arthritis in my big toes
My feet are things of beauty 😉
I wear DMs, El Naturalista, and other big clunky shoes that lots of people don't like on MN

I have been looking on eBay, have seen some Rocket Dog boots
I know I can go to try some on and will do so when time allows but I want to bid today and grab a bargain!

Anyone with wide and slightly swollen feet who can advise me?

I would welcome any other recommendations for comfy, dare I say quirky shoes and boots.

I have owned quite a few pairs of shoes and boots by them over the years and I would say that the sizing is very inconsistent. I've had some in my size that are so tight I've been unable to wear them, but that is more of a length thing than width. I also have wide feet and don't find them to be narrow, but I would just be wary about the sizing in general.

I’ve got a pair and they’re just ok. Not brilliant quality imo. I wouldn’t buy a pair without trying them on as the pair I’ve got come up v small.

Thank you both, I will proceed with caution then.
I used to wear stilettos with 4in heels all the time back in the day; these days my first thought is 'are they comfortable?'

I have really wide feet, and both my pairs of rocket dogs are good.

It really depends on the boot. I've sugardaddies in the past and they are very wide. Nice and comfy. However I tried on a pair of more structured boots and they were too tight. (I have wide feet)

I find they fit well - totally normal feet here - but I was looking in TKMaxx recently, and every single style of rocket dogs were made of fake suede or fake leather.

I would say to try Clarks.

Thank you, I will curb my eBaying until I can try some RDs on.
I am going to Google sugardaddies, I must admit, with a certain wariness Wink

I've got sugar daddies on my fourth pair. I live in them in winter. They are really wide. I've got wide feet and they're swimming in the boots even with thick socks

I got two pairs of their jazzin trainers in May and loved them, they were the comfiest shoes ever but they both wore right through (big holes!) in six weeks. And they never replied when I contacted them. So I'd never get Rocket Dog shoes again.

I've had 2 pair of their boots both v comfy but both worn right through well before time. Poor quality which is such a shame
