Teenage Skin

My DS (15). Has sensitive, spotty skin. He has had quite a bad reaction to a gel containing benzoyl peroxide. After 3 days the redness is subsiding but he is still spotty and miserable. The gel was prescribed by the GP who says to come back to try a different product once his skin settles. Any recommendations as to how we can look after his sensitive skin and hope fully reduce the spots? I would say he has mild acne.

My DS uses Boots Tea Tree Gel (light green often on 3 for 2)

And has a beard which , oddly enough has improved his face.
He uses Lush Kalamazoo (I think not shaving his very sensitive skin has actually helped it settle)

My DD has sensitive dry patch skin and found Aveeno was the best to soothe this (found this purely by accident she was desperate for something to ease the painful areas and couldn't apply concealer as it went cakey. Her skin literally bled if she moved her mouth too much Sad )
