Fitflops do they work and look ok when worn?

I've seen them in shops but always look a bit chunky and expensive, a newsletter I'm subscribed to recommended these and they are 95 down to 29 with a discount code. So I'm tempted.

Has anyone worn fitflops much?

Have had several pairs and they do help posture but not sure they actively tone.

I’m yet to see them looking okay when worn. I’m sure they suit some people, but not everyone IMO

Ohh I wear them every day! I have lots of different styles and actually think with my latest ones you wouldn’t know! Or maybe I’m just kidding myself! Haha I don’t care. I have a baby in a buggy and walk everywhere. It’s good to be comfy. They really help posture and I think by doing that help you to tone up a bit. My legs are deffo more shapely since wearing every day.
Go for it OP!

Excuse the state of them but these are my latest ones. Got them in Feb for my birthday and worn most days since. I just think they look like lots of more ‘trendy’ trainers around lately...
My OH would disagree though! Grin

Sadly, like a lot of things, you are exchanging style for comfort 😬

Oncewaswho · 05/10/2017 15:34

I've never tried them as although I have a great need for comfort and support and am usually happy to concede on style, the flip-flop ones are too ugly even for me. I'd consider the boots or trainers but need to find a shop really, I rarely manage to pick anything that fits properly online.

I have two pairs of the superloafers. You don't buy them for their elegance but they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had and very good quality - compared to my skechers they still look good after two years and a lot of walking.
I read that they had to stop making toning claims after the evidence was challenged. They might tone you because they are so nice to walk in you will do a lot more walking, though!

I have the boots too and once ran half a mile in them - luckily I was wearing them the day ds1 absconded from school and I had to get there as fast as possible!

Thanks all, I've gone for a sporty and a sandal. The posture has sold it to me.

The sporty one i think people would struggle to notice that it is a different show, but we will see!

I've got these and love them and wear them to work all every week. I have narrow ankles and most loafers slide off but these stay on and are actually quite dainty (I do have small feet though). Quite tempted by the suede version this year!
