What can I wear with this orange skirt?

The 'red' colour, is in fact a lovely tomato orange colour, very firey.

I cannot picture what I'd wear it with except black, and I think that would verge on Dennis the menace.

I recently bought some burnished gold boots which I want to wear with everything but they won't go with this so I'm questioning my whole existence.

I'm 37 with pale skin and chestnutty / brown hair if that helps.

white! a white blouse or shirt and your gold shoes, maybe with a orangey red lipstick that matches the skirt and some gold jewellery

Would a mulberry purple work?

If it's definitely more orange than red, there are lots of colours you could wear with it!
Navy, grey, khaki, muted yellow, creams, whites, brown...

You could even wear with a Breton stripe top, or if you're feeling really brave I think a leopard print top would be really nice (not a bold contrast print, more of a muted brown/black one)

Mid navy or dark teal would look lovely.
