If you have amazing eyebrows, how did you get them?

I see so many people with lovely, neat eyebrows. Not the big HD caterpillars, just very tidy brows which have obviously had some kind of cosmetic ‘intervention’ more significant than plucking

My brows are fine and quite blonde. I currently use a brush then pencil them in with a dark blonde crayon thing. They look ok but not amazing.

I’ve heard about microblading. Is this what I need? I’ve had them shaped and tinted before and they look naice but it doesn’t fatten them up enough or last long enough. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Iv had mine microbladed (if that's the term 🤔) I love them but i found it more painful than child birth!

Didn't someone have a terrible microblading experience on here recently?

Mine used to be awful but I spent two years growing them out and they look ok now. I had plucked them too thin for years before.

I've seen so many bad examples of microblading. I stick with a little threading, a bit of tinting, and then some brow powder.

Mine were amazing but they was hacked out when I went to get a quick eyebrow wax, and done the typical English thing saying they looked amazing when they was awful. My advice is grow them out for as long as possible. I've heard good things about blink brow bar, not sure if they have one by you. Or the other option is to research a good salon for microbrading.

Yerazig Thank you - my sodding eyebrows don’t grow though. I just get little strays underneath them. Sigh.

My eyebrows where non existent so no amount of tinting would have helped, i expected it to be like having a tattoo but on reflection that was silly as it's nothing like a tattoo! You quickly get used to the cuts being made but it's stings 😳 more so when they keep wiping them over to move except pigment and get a better look etc

I had mine done for a very reasonable £135 including top up as I know the lady doing them, but I think they are usually a fair bit more, well worth not having to draw them daily

I get mine threaded and tinted every 6 weeks. My 19 year old says that they are "on point" and she has lovely natural eyebrows - non of your hairy caterpillar died on your face look - so I am happy with that.

I have started putting black castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes - and they are definitely looking better for it!! (bought on ebay for much cheapness)

Castor oil is great for eyebrows. Really brought mine back to life.

I have thickish eyebrows. All through my teens, 20's and 30's they were considered too thick. Now I think they're thinner than a lot of brows I see. Just be happy with what you've got.

Don't get them done too thin,
Threading is better than waxing IMO
Find someone you like, and then treat them very well - my eyebrow woman is a star!
DONT get them microbladed or tattooed unless you are sure sure sure this is the way you are going to want to look for the next 10 years!

I've never plucked them, could not do that much pain, after having to thread a tache.

Omg even the pain of plucking makes me almost cry so no chance I would do the whole microblading. I think beauty has definitely become more painful and expensive over the past 10 years either that or I didn't notice the eyebrow crazes but then I'm not a girlie girl .

I have mine threaded every fortnight and tint them at home about once a month. Also use a brow pomade daily to fill in the tails, where they're a bit thin.

Trimming the long, straggly hairs with a little pair of brow scissors makes a big difference to the way mine look. But then I think I'm unusually afflicted with sprouty old man brows.

I have amazing eyebrows if I may say so myself, and it's all down to microblading. It isn't permanent like tattooing, it only lasts 9-18 months. I literally had no eyebrows thanks to over-plucking as a teen in the 1990s, and I now have very natural looking eyebrows that perfectly frame my face. It hurt A LOT though. Plus I needed three sessions as I had nothing to work with.

It wasn't meant as an admonishment. But some people just like to create an argument out of nothing...

I've kind of stopped plucking mine as I've been so busy and they actually look better than they have for years. I would suggest growing them back/out and then go to a really well recommended salon for a reshape. Then invest in some great products.

Get them threaded every month, it gives a good clear line. Also get some brow powder to lightly brush through.

I think Benefit have the best range of eyebrow products! They do a two tone powder now with a soft shade at the start and darker at the end, I really want to try it!
